How soon can I get my school enabled for text messages?
If you already have the contact details (name,mobile and optionally email address) in a
document or spreadsheet then we can have your school up and running in less than a day.

Can I change how text messages are charged?
Yes you can. This can be done for each group (class or year or team) and also on an individual message basis. You can choose to have the school pay for one message and the parents charged for the remainder.

How do I pay for bulk texts for my school?
You can purchase bulk text messages online or send us a purchase order and pay by cheque. You can also prepay for an entire school year and get significant discounts.

How much to bulk text messages cost?
We charge 8 cent/ 8p per text message and this price reduces as your volume increases.

Can I change to Clicshare online later?
Yes. All schools on Clichare are enabled for online access by default. You can simply start using the other features at any time and let your parents know.

Is Clicshare secure?
Every parent on Clicshare has their own unique username
and password which provides members only with access to
groups that the user is a member of. In addition, the
personal information stored in Clicshare is encrypted
and protected by a firewall and Clicshare staff monitor
login failures and take action immediately if required.

Can
Clicshare sell or provide my details to 3rd parties?
No.
Personal information stored in Clicshare is private and
confidential. Clicshare can not, and does not share this
information with any 3rd party. |

Can
I get my own Clicshare Group?
Yes. Every user on Clicshare can create their own
personal free private Clicshare group. Enter important
dates, birthdays and appointments in the calendar. Create
photo albums and share photos online. Sunscribers can
overlay any or all their group calendars to provide a
complete picture of what's happening for the next month. |

I
already have a Clicshare access from my School. Can I
access new groups with my single username?
Yes.
Use your current username and password to access any new
Clicshare community, sports or business group.

Can
I keep my contact details Private?
Yes.
When you register with Clicshare you can choose to make
your details "private" on a class by class basis
so that only you and School staff can view your information.

Do
I need broadband Internet?
No.
Any internet connection will suffice but obviously a high
speed connection will provide a much better experience
to the user. |

Do
I need to install additional Computers or software?
No.
Clicshare is operated as a full function service which
Clicshare operates on behalf of your organization. All
you require is a connection to the Internet and a browser.

Do
members need to install additional Software?
No. All that is required is an internet connection (dialup
or broadband), an Internet browser and a username and
password for access to the Clicshare School.

Can
I change reminder settings?
Yes.
Every Clicshare subscriber can change the reminder setting
on any event by adding a personal reminder which overrides
the group reminder on the event. You can cancel the daily
and advance reminder or add one where no reminder is currently
set.

When
are reminders sent?
Advance
reminders are sent after 11:30 AM. Reminders for an event
happening today are sent at 7:30 but you can set a time
from 7am through until 9am.

Can
I send text messages to members for those unplanned events
only?
Yes,
a school can use the 'send message' option to target specific
groups with either a text message, an email message or
both. A school would need to pre-purchase text messages
in bulk - price starts at $20 per 200 texts.

Parents add information like events and messages to my
School group?
Usually
school groups are set up so that members/parents have
"view" access only. This means that members
can not add any information except their contact details
and personal reminders to their groups. However the
School can selectively enable "contribute"
access for any member.

Can
we use Clicshare for sports teams?
A
school can create as many groups as required, including
groups for sports teams. You can enter the schedule, leave
messages, post team results, and photos from previous
games to these groups.

Can
members choose which groups to get reminders from?
Yes.
Reminders are set on a group by group basis. You can choose
to get text* reminders from one group, email and text
from another and nothing from a third group.
*This service only available to Clicshare users who purchase

How
do we get started on Clicshare?
We
would set your school up based on your requirement, perhaps
you are:
a)
Looking for a service to text parents for those unplanned
events, or
b) You want to set up a calendar of planned events based
on your school date list or
c) You would like to be able to have both options plus
the other features.

| Here's
what we need:
1.
Your existing school date list (to support option b)
above),
2. A list of your parents with email addresses (for
message via email option)
3. and mobile phone numbers (for message via texting
option).
4. Send us the naming convention of your classes e.g.
1A - D, 2A - D etc.
5. It would also be useful, but not necessary, to have
the parents linked to a particular class or classes
ie. whichever class their child is in.

would set your school up to support your requirement,
along with:
1.
A simple guide explaining how you use Clicshare (again
based on whichever option you choose that best serves
your need).
2. A sample letter that could be used, informing parents
of the service and its benefits.
3. One of our support team would be happy to be present
during your launch of the service to ensure that everything
runs smoothly once you activate the site.
