The
OB/GYN Department at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center
in Winston-Salem, N.C. has implemented Clicshare.com to enable
patients to easily share and store their ultrasound pictures.
Each
patient is given access to their own personal Clicshare site and,
rather than e-mailing their ultrasound images, they simply invite
friends and family to their private Clicshare group to view the
images.
Each
group site also contains important information relating to the
'mom-to-be' and her pregnancy, including hospital contact information,
hospital events, brochures, and tips relating to her pregnancy.
Patients' group sites are updated regularly by WFUBMC staff and
physicians so new information is at a patient's fingertips. A
mom-to-be can even send text messages from her personal Clicshare
site, perfect for alerting friends and family, and even her physician,
when she is about to go to the hospital.
